Festival Fun
One fun thing that you can do this summer is head to a festival. There are a variety of festivals that go on during the summer time in the Bay Area. Choose from street painting, art, wine, sailing, food (time to try garlic ice cream), jazz and music festivals.

Beach Bonanza
There are plenty of beaches to choose from right in your backyard! Take a beach drive down highway 1 starting at Pacifica is a beautiful drive along through a forest and eventually riding along the ocean. Some San Francisco Beaches include Bakers Beach, Ocean Beach, and China Beach. Some Half Moon Bay Beaches and access points include Francis Beach, Poplar, and Dunes Beach. There are a plethora of beaches to choose from. Within only 15-20 miles of San Francisco you'd be surprised how many beaches you will find.

Blooming Gardens
Now is the perfect time to head to a garden. Roses are in full bloom during early summers of Berkeley rose garden. Or head to the botanical gardens at sf, santa cruz, or Berkeley.

Find an amazing view
Because the weather has improved, if you head to the top of mountains and peak you can get a clear view of the entire surrounding area.

Hike along the coast
Take a hike down the coast. The Pacific Trail Coast runs along the beaches of Half Moon Bay.
