Below are two quotes from professors that study relationships between couples.
"The more you invest in fun and friendship and being there for your partner, the happier the relationship will get over time,"
-- Howard Markman, a co-director of Denver University’s Center for Marital and Family Studies.
“A new wave of research is making the point very consistently that romantic feelings of attraction can be a function of the situations people share, rather than the specific qualities of the individual,”
--Benjamin Karney, an associate professor of social psychology and co-director of The Relationship Institute at UCLA

Guys love adventure. He will enjoy the adrenaline rush that goes with the challenge and ability to use his smarts and strength. It has been showed that heightened levels of activity can make falling in love much easier.

Romantic Sunset Poetry
Get a warm blanket. Bring a bottle of wine, brie and crackers. After pouring a glass,
look him directly in the eyes. (Gazing in each others eyes have been proven to spark romantic feelings for each other).
Begin citing your memorized poetry.
Here is part of Eliza Acton’s beautiful poem I Love Thee (but you should choose your favorite):
I love thee, as I love the calm
Of sweet, star-lighted hours!
I love thee, as I love the balm
Of early jes'mine flow'rs.
I love thee, as I love the last
Rich smile of fading day,
Which lingereth, like the look we cast,
On rapture pass'd away.
I love thee as I love the tone
Of some soft-breathing flute
Whose soul is wak'd for me alone,
When all beside is mute.
Impress him under the stars
Guys love it when you teach them things. Knowledge is attractive, sexy and fun. And looking up at the stars together is a very romantic way to bring two people closer.
For this romantic thing to do, you should first brush up on some facts about the universe or stars.
Once you feel like you have learned enough, take him to the top of a very high mountain at night or just a clear area where there isn't a lot of light pollution.
When things go quiet, wrap him in your arms and bring your lips close to his ear. Make sure you do it in a fun and interesting way (not condescending or cocky)!
Begin to tell him all that you’ve learned. Here are some facts to get you started:
(Taken from Bill Bryson’s book
A Short History of Nearly Everything)
** It is not possible to reach the end of the Universe because you would end up where you began (due to the curvature of space)
** If you wanted to take a trip to Pluto, it would take over 20 years even in the fastest space craft (this all depends on when you go as well because the distance between the two vary as they orbit the sun)
** From the naked eye, you can see about 6,000 stars from earth
A Romantic Drive together
