What's so special about Mount Diablo? According to state park's website, you can see more of the earth's surface, then any other peak in the world ( excluding for Mt. Kilimanjaro). But other sources claim this simply isn't true (Wikipedia). Whatever the case, it is still a fantastic view and on a very clear day, you can see Mt. Shasta being 180 miles away. Keep a look out for coyotes, bobcats, and deer.
