Explore Coit Tower and then walk down the long stairway of telegraph hill. On either side you will find a group of parrots that reside on the hill. Along the stairway are cute houses and a shaded pathway by trees and shrubs.

The view from the top is also spectacular. You can see the bay including Alcatraz Island. The documentary, The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill tells the story about a man, Mark Bittner, a homeless and jobless man who befriends the birds. The documentary is one of the highest grossing animal documentary films.
